I am a big fan of ballet. Like huge you could call it obsessed. Well, almost. I love the moves the dancers make, the flows, telling a story with their body and dancing. I’m following The English National Ballet on Facebook for quite some time now and I came across this beautiful picture made by Jason Bell. The English National Ballet posted a video about how this picture was made and it insired me so much that I had to share this.

Before I started with this assignment I looked for some examples, inspiration. During the lecture we were provided with some interesting artists. The artist(s) that appeals to me the most is Six & Five studio from Andy Reisinger and Ezequiel Pini. I tried to photograph in this kind of way but with a touch of my own.

10 Instragram accounts that inspire (me)

During the week I’ve been looking for more inspiration. I found some really interesting typographers on Social Media. I’m searching on different platforms like Pinterest, Facebook, Behance. All kinds of different platforms to keep the inspiration flowing. And not just that. I find in interesting to see work of others to see what goes on in their heads or to see how someone done a project. With Behance you can easily show step by step pictures so that gives me a good opportunity to look at a process. Right now I’m showing my top 10 Instagram accounts that inspire me.

Designing type – progress, next stage

Remember my last blog about my progress? I was pretty stuck with it. I was working too much on one letter which gave me like a tunnel vision. I tried to let it rest and look at it later on. That worked all right. The inspiration started to get back to me again and I’ve made some really good progress.
