Typology of a city

Typology of a city: Licoln. Because I’m not English and not from around here, I needed to think about how I would see the city of Lincoln. For this assignment I used the series from Hanks Eijkelboom as inspiration. It is really interesting to see how people are actually “the same”. My goal was to find something/persons that represented Lincoln in my eyes.
Planner design – First stage
Because I’m only here for one semester I decided I wanted to challenge myself a little bit more. The semester B assignments caught my attention , especially the book design. However, I wanted to create something different, so instead of a children’s book I chose to design an agenda. I started brainstorming and looked for inspiration.
Creative Portrait Photography with Maja Topčagić – Canon

I love looking at other photographers their work. It keeps me inspired and it also gives me ideas for photoshoots. However I still have to practice a lot. I keep looking at other photographers in order to figure out how they created this picture. I follow a lot of photographers on Social Media but also camera brands. This time the Facebook page of Canon caught my eye because of this photographer; Maja Topčagić.

People are things
People are things, creating a relationship between people and things. An interesting subject yet a bit odd. After looking at other photographers work I threw myself in to this “deep” world and started photographing.

This typeface (typefaces) is inspired by examples on Pinterest and Instagram. I wanted to try this for a long time and it was a good opportunity to do this. So I did and this is the result.
