Projection Mapping

Cheryl Porcelijn / October 2, 2015December 13, 2015 / 1. Convergence Task, Digital media

The first workshop of Digital media was with Clive. He told us everything about projection mapping. I have to be honest if I say that I didn’t understand what the term meant. But as Clive started to show some examples I knew exactly what it was. We have seen it everywhere during these days. A good example is Disneyland. They have used projection mapping in the Haunted Mansion already in 1969!
I’ve been several times to Disneyland Paris and Disney World Florida. Compared to this youtube movie, The Haunted mansion has changed a lot. Obviously the technique is getting better and projectors are getting stronger.

This is a list of youtube movies with examples of projection mapping which I like:

1-minute me, after effects, augmented reality, branding, convergence task, Design, Digital Media, logo, moving image, one minute, self, tracking, video
