The second photography workshop was about using flash. We were introduced to different kind of equipment. We learned how to use with a light meter which is making working with flashlight a lot easier. Using a light meter also helps you creating the best exposed photos. The only thing you need to “worry” about is the composition of the lights. Where do you place them in composition with your model/attributes?

I do some research sometimes myself. This category is regarding my own companies.
Continuous light (LED)
During the first photography workshop we worked with continuous light, LED lights. The advantage of continuous light is that you don’t need any technical experience as you will need when you work with flashlight. You turn the light on, position it as you would like and you are ready to take photos.
Designing the M
During the second Design workshop we worked with some typefaces and letters. There were print-outs which we could cut out. Before I did something with the M, I’ve tried different ideas. Unfortunately with no succes. It always looks better in mind than on paper. However, when I started cutting out the letter M ideas started flowing. I was wondering what I could do with these since this was the last try and therefore I was eager to make it something pretty.
Typeface safari
During our first Design workshop, we had to go out and search Lincoln for typefaces. Together with my classmate Patti, we searched on the Brayford Warf for interesting fonts.
Searching the perfect font
I guess this title isn’t really applicable maybe but I think there are some very good, if not perfect, fonts.
I have been looking in a lot of books lately and found some really interesting and very good fonts. Yes, besides Helvetica there are other fonts that will work in a different context.
