The individual is Capital
A ʻPortraitʼ may be interpreted in its widest sense of ʻphotography concerned with portraying people with an emphasis on their identity as individualsʼ.

Typology of a city
Typology of a city: Licoln. Because I’m not English and not from around here, I needed to think about how I would see the city of Lincoln. For this assignment I used the series from Hanks Eijkelboom as inspiration. It is really interesting to see how people are actually “the same”. My goal was to find something/persons that represented Lincoln in my eyes.

Creatures
Before I started with this assignment I looked for some examples, inspiration. During the lecture we were provided with some interesting artists. The artist(s) that appeals to me the most is Six & Five studio from Andy Reisinger and Ezequiel Pini. I tried to photograph in this kind of way but with a touch of my own.

I’ve looked at artists like Ernst Haas, Christopher Williams, Lisa Oppenheim and Anette Kelm to name a few. What I do like about new formalism is the colourfulness. But actually, that is all I like about it. In my opinion, new formalism is to crowded, to busy. It is shouting at me, which I do not like. That’s why I tried to interpreted new formalism in a different way.
